To mark National Braai Day today, the staff and residents at the Pride Shelter headed out into the front garden and threw some lekker fish and boerewors on the braai!

Huge thanks to everyone who came to the fundraiser at the Artscape Arena tonight, and to Abrahamse & Meyer Productions for allowing us to raise money at one of their performances of One Arm. The acting was superb - well done to Marcel Meyer (pictured below) and Nicholas Dallas. We raised much needed funds for the Pride Shelter, and a special thank you to Jan for her hard work in selling tickets!  The veggie garden planted at the Pride Shelter on Mandela Day back in July is doing very well! Thanks again to all those who volunteered their time on the day to help out, including Triarc and Health4Men.  Great news! The handover of the R19,000 cheque from Conversations to the Pride Shelter Trust on 24th June at Inn on the Square has been featured on page 3 of the Spring 2014 issue of OUT Africa Magazine.
